This is the photo that I took with Onyx when he passed away a few days ago. I am addressing this post here, not to garner sympathy, or even compassion. It is just a visual illustration of how dearly we love our animals. We as a group are compassionate animal lovers, who come to this forum as an escape, a respite from the daily grind of life. This is a place where we can share the joys and sorrows of sharing our lives with parrots. This is a place to lift and encourage one another and to attempt to provide information without judgment. The world outside is full of strife, bitterness, violence and everyday pressures. It doesnt mean we have to agree on everything, or anything, but it means we treat one another with civility and politeness. I am a civil and human rights lawyer that believes in freedom. But never the freedom to victimize others. Malik will be removed because he is caustic and toxic to spirit we try to create here, not because he doesnt think someones bird isnt cute or special.
