For some of us, it remains a dream, yet for Tanner Tallarico, that dream is becoming reality. North Carolina is where the heart of NASCAR is, so Tanner traveled there to attend the Lafferty Driver Development Program. The Lafferty Driver Development program is designed to help drivers like Tanner to have a shot in the big leagues of racing. Tanner performed several tasks on and off the track to test his abilities. These tasks are the fundamental knowledge needed when attempting the make the steep climb up the racing ranks. The next step in Tanners career is to secure marketing partners on his quest to NASCAR stardom. Tanners dream has always been to make it to the top level of racing. It’s time for Tanner to take the next step in the racing world, moving up to bigger and better things. With hard work and a great amount of passion, Tanner was able to find an opportunity to work towards his dream. Lafferty Motorsports in Mooresville, North Carolina has been working with Tanner in their driver development program. This program focuses on all aspects of producing a great driver. Not only from driving skill, but other skills as well. This program will teach Tanner to be a marketable driver, with the ultimate goal to break into the ARCA Racing Series and/or the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The owner of Lafferty Motorsports, Chris Lafferty, has experience in both series. Chris has all of the knowledge needed to turn Tanner into a new, up and coming star. Together, both Tanner and Chris plan on taking Tanners career forward. Currently, Tanner has been testing an ARCA race car at Hickory Motor Speedway in North Carolina. With this testing, both Tanner and Chris Lafferty plan to prepare themselves for the first race together in DuQuion, Illinois at DuQuion State Fairs one mile clay oval track. The race will be on September 1st at 1:30 Tanner and Lafferty will work together to make progress toward the top level of racing, remember their names, the future is looking bright for the American kid chasing the American dream.
