This is the result, on part, of many years of my lobbying and engagement with the Montreal Holocaust Memerial Centre. I joined in 2012 with the intention of making the Jewish experience of the holocaust, an experience deeply ingrained in who I am and how I was raised, relevant and important in contemporary Canada. On April 3rd, our exhibit on residential schools opens. This is a big step for the Jewish community in Montreal and an example for the rest of Canada.
