This is the saga of the baby hummer in Salida Colorado last summer. Mom built a next under a bridge, on a piece of chain. The next was mostly made out of Cottonwood cotton, but one of the two babies got flipped and was caught upside down. I grabbed him and my friend brought him home. She fed him, and if she had to go somewhere I fed him.... then her husband thought about making a next out of a styrofoam cup and paper towels... so the was executed and the baby was duct taped next to the old next. Not only was that a success but the other baby moved into the cup with its sibling.... Mama was happy to have the baby back and both babies thrived.,
