This is the species I like the most. Sempervivum is easy to grow because it´s unpretentious to habitat (this succulent-like plant can store water in its thick leaves and allows them to live on sunny rocks and stony places with full sun!), soil quality (it is very resistant to difficult conditions of growth) and it´s easy to propagate (in favourable conditions they can spread rapidly via offshoots) This plant is native to the mountainous regions of central and southern Europe and some Mediterranean islands, but you can grow it practically everywhere. In the garden, as a ground cover, in planters with other perennials, or you can grow it - for example - in a picture frame (there are several species of this genus, so it will be colorful itself alone).
