This is the text of an e-mail I just sent to folks on my lists about planning for this year: As I get ready to roll out my 2014 schedule, I would like to hear from you on any particular tours or neighborhoods that pique your curiosity As always, Im trying to develop new tours all the time. I have a new Bronx tour in the works but need to make a few more visits to finalize it. Id like to create a Corona tour that could include a visit to the Louis Armstrong House as an optional add-on. Im interested in exploring the stretch of Broadway from the new north Columbia campus up to about 155th Street - but probably start it uptown and end near the waterfront of the new campus. Im also thinking of focusing this season on tours I skipped last year because I had so may custom tours. These would include Richmond Hill/Jamaica; Latin American Jackson Heights; Astoria (I led it last year as a custom tour only); southern Washington Heights, Sephardic Brooklyn, Caribbean Brooklyn ... and others.
