This is the video of the murder of Michael Brown. Many have seen it but it was reposted to my wall so I am resharing it. Im sharing it because you can clearly hear the people proclaim he was shot for no reason. You can clearly hear them say there were 4 shots while he was down on the ground and then 4 more. You can hear them say the officer shot him then stood over him and shot him some more. I want you to see how they were ready to pounce upon the father who attempted to view the body to verify if in fact it was his son. And I want you to see how they freely march to and fro around the body while cordoning off a wide area to keep everybody else far, far, away. Keep in mind the entire community witnessed a murder of an innocent young man murdered for no reason and the body laid exposed in the hot hot sun for hours while the people were kept at bay. And then I want you to ask yourself, what would of happened had members of this community availed themselves of the constitutional right to bare arms and were legally in possession of fire arms at the time of this shooting? What do you suppose would have happened? Across America blacks have been shot and killed on sight for allegedly being in the wrong neighborhood. Their presence cause the community to fear they had come to rob, rape, or murder and they were fired upon and killed and the fears of those community members were justified by whites in society, who held the same fears. Ask yourself the question, what is the difference here? Because the entire community experienced a reality not a fear that resulted in the murder of an innocent young man. Do they have the rights of white America to safeguard their community against harm real or imagined? I want you to attempt to seriously answer the question, if even for yourself. No doubt it will lead to more questions concerning our rights here in this country and whether or not the rights we claim to have can benefit us one iota.
