This is the worst case of Corruption... This video is shocking but, truth, which was hidden from public eye in the name of protecting respect n dignity for Indian Army. Many know that Indian Army and other forces involve in such corruption, esp, through contract works. Still, I remember, In 2006, A news article about one young officer in Bangalore has been court martial for misbehaving with their superior officer and she later committed suicide. The mother of that young officer claims, that she was punished for exposing corruption in Bangalore Army Administration. She has written many mails to top officers but, no action has been taken. Atlast, some unknown circumstances has forced her to commit suicide but, Army gave an explanation, that her relationship with fellow officer turned sour, for her suicide. I didnt believe it. I hope none. What is the truth Indian Army ? Indian Army, we respect your work in saving life during natural disaster n emergency but, corruption is rooted deep in all 3 forces.... How do you motivate youngsters to join army in such case ? How do you plan to stop this corruption at every level ? I remember one of my schoolmate, who completed BDS in Chennai( at 2002). He was desperate to complete MDS so, that he will practice to gain more money in Chennai. Due to huge competition for limited seats, he jolted a new strategy to join Indian Army as Medical Officer so, after completing 3 years, he will be eligible for taking Gov of India sponsored MDS program at Army Medical College. He cleared all levels of army exams and selected to work in Army. I realized that, many ppl join army as officers are up for the perks and benefits rather for the nation. Are you going to curb this news report or take necessary steps to arrest corruption at all levels in all forces ? As a common man, employed in IT firm and paying regular tax to Gov, felt cheated and insulted to live in this country.
