This is the year in 9 that Larry and I are not in Suburb of Chicago, in a hotel trying to get some sleep. The alarm clock would be going off around 3:30 am. Those supporting the 3day in Chicago will be at the starting site by 4:30 Friday morning. As a walker I would get up at 4:00 am, take a shower, pack all my gear and go downstairs to catch a bus at 5:00 to go to the starting of the Susan G Komen 3 day for Breast Cancer. On Friday over 1,000 women and men will begin walking around 7:00 am and walk 22 miles to their first camp. By Sunday they will have walked 60 miles and raised an exorbitant amount of money to eradicate breast cancer. Walkers will look forward to the long lines of port o pots that will tell them they are one stop closer to the finish. Good luck tomorrow Chicago. Will be thinking of you. Have a blessed weekend.
