This is to all those who feel we trainers are making a killing on hauling your horse. After a $500 tire adventure, we took the trailer in to check the spring hanger as we removed a bit of I-44 when we blew the first tire on the way home from Springfield. Seems simple, right? Not so much. 3 days later and $3,000, we have new bearings, new brakes, drumbs and rotors. We also have more than one new divider pad that your horse ate for entertainment. The fuel is the cheap part of this profession I have chosen. So take pause before you complain about the cost of hauling. Thank You. That is all.
