This is to clear the air on a few rumours that have been circulating within the media for the past few days. Unfortunately rumours are unavoidable in this industry and generally not worth a response. But the malicious nature of the two current ones cannot be over looked . Hence the post. 1) The schedule break for the movie was pre arranged so that Dulquer and Nithya can finish Mani Ratnam sirs movie O K Kanmani . The news that the budget has crossed the 10 cr mark with a further 15 cr to complete and the producer had to stop the shoot is honestly amusing. Rest assured, if we had that sort of budget we would have shot this movie in New York City instead of Bangalore :) The budget is strictly within the refines of a decent Malayalam film. 2) The second rumour goes that 100DOL has similarities with Ornayundo Ee Mukham. This one is not all that amusing . Much love to all the fine people behind that fine film, but 100DOL is entirely original and has no resemblance to any films narrative that we know of.
