This is truly beautiful! Please take a moment to watch this! There are so many levels in which this is is powerfully healing and supportive of further healing. I love that she is an OB/Gyn doc herself. Was her surgeon there, too, I wonder? Its hard for me to tell what role everyone plays on the medical end, maybe someone more medically experienced can tell and comment. I hope so because the beautiful bonding that happened between everyone there is so apparent. What a different energy than is typical! How often are truly connected heart-filled hugs a part of entering surgery? Especially with the visually dehumanizing barrier of face masks and uniforms - necessary for safety but that so often can leave the person entering surgery feeling even more isolated and afraid. Having everyones heart-energy connected to each other and to the patient as a person... how much better will they all work together after this?! How much more in-tune will they be with this patient during surgery? Wow. Knowing the power of energy connection, especially when entering physical and emotional trauma of surgery, regardless if necessary or not, leaves me loving loving loving this beautiful example of how our full range of humanity does not need to be left in the waiting room or the surgery staff prep areas - and in fact how necessary that it not be!
