This is very True, I grew up in a Baptist Church and Sunday School every week until I left home at age 19 for the Military, I made a profession of faith at around 8 are 9 Years old, I was sincere but The Lord was not dealing with my heart I didnt really understand I was a Sinner, but when I came home after 4 years in the navy I got back in Church with my new Wife who I had just married in August 1969, after almost a year in Church I realized I did not have peace in my Heart, This is what is so spiritually dangerous many people make a Profession of faith but God is not dealing in there heart that they are a sinners, there was never a time in my Life that I did not Believe in Jesus, but the Bible says in James 2:19 that just acknowledgement is not true belief, Many people believe in God and Jesus but will not repent and then receive him as there own personal Savior because we are born sinners, That morning in January 1971 I made sure, The Pastor took the Bible and started at Romans 3:23, them 5:12, 6:23, 10:8,9,10,and 13. and then a few weeks later Acts 2:41, like a lot of children that are raised in Church and Sunday School, there Hearts are tender and believing there are many who get saved at a very early age, But regardless of what age it has to be a Child like and Humble believe and faith Matthew 18:3,4. That Morning in 1971 I came to the realization that I Knew a lot about Jesus but I really did not know him Personally, that morning I made Sure! 1John5:11-13, Assurance! John 6:37!
