This is very important to me. Id appreciate a show of hands. My brother, Mike is perhaps one of the finest writers and keyboard players I have ever known. Over the decades, his performance-involvement has dwindled down to nada. Life got in the way. We have been playing together for 45 years. I play his jazz tunes with my groups. He must have 60+ songs written that no one has ever heard. He is a rocker at heart with an obvious love of so many classic groups...but his lyrics, genius arrangements and playing are on their own level. My brother is a very sensitive lyricist and here, is concerned with the state of the world. He states his case very well. The music is outstanding, the message clear. Please have a listen and line right up to support his music and in particular this message. He plays EVERYTHING on this tune...hes a monster. I am biased, but this level of writing, at least to me, is so much more solid than the majority of the SHIT out there in vocal music now.
