This is what I am talking about-----all of the funding for higher education is now being packaged under the guise of job training and career colleges. Both Federal and State funding has shifted from student financial aid to 4 year universities to these corporate job training career colleges. This is a neo-liberal and neo-conservative move to create a tiered level of access to education that will make it impossible for working and middle-class to attain higher education in strong 4 year universities. What we will see, as in Maryland are hand-picked students from the working and middle-class being given financial aid a scholarships by corporations----like University of Maryland College Park and its scholarship directed at KIPP high school grads----KIPP is a national charter chain so this promotes a charter chain. Know who corporations choose to give scholarships? Not students that end up returning to their communities as civil rights and liberty leaders! Public funding to public universities-----NO WAY SAY CLINTON NEO-LIBERALS AND BUSH NEO-CONS!
