This is what I have been working on for the past 20 months!!! It has been an unbelievable task that has taught me so much about myself and has helped me reconnect to many musical friends. What a journey…and it all starts on Monday! Thank you to all of the Iowa Choral Directors that have offered advice, their time, and their skills to make this event come to fruition for the past 40 years! A special thank you to the Iowa Choral Directors Association for giving me this opportunity to lead and by blessing me with an organization that is always willing to help, to assist, to nurture, to love, to teach, and give their best to musicians..near and far, young and old. I have been a member of ICDA since 1992 and I am honored to chair the 40th Summer Symposium! Also, thank you to my family for their patience, their love, and ability to hear about this for nearly two years.
