Please support the residents in the process to end the Midlothian flooding now. This is the closest we have ever come to finding the help and the solutions we need! We are in the process of partnering with Cook County in a Hazard Mitigation program which can help provide solutions to prevent future disasters. A Steering Committee will be formed to proceed in this process for Midlothian. There are critical deadlines to be met in this process. Get involved! This project will not come on a silver platter with a pretty bow on it! We need to push forward and WORK HARD! Midlothian is looking at a $60 million project. There are homes that have been affected that may qualify for acquisition. Come to the next village meeting and be active in the process!
