This is what we call rescue juice... the stuff that keeps us going in the dark times when we are overworked, trying to raise funds for a dogs vet bill, dont have enough volunteers, etc. When we read these kinds of emails from folks who have adopted from us and see the bountiful and fantastic lives our furbabies are getting, it motivates us to stay in this battle to save dogs lives... And as a P.S.? For the guys out there, it takes a big real man to love a tiny furbaby... us gals melt when we see our fellows loving up on these little ones! From the new furmom who adopted Arizona: Hi! We are head over heals with our little girl. Her official name is Detective Benson and weve decided shes a pighuahua (a cross between a pig and a chihuahua). She follows me everywhere and loves love as much as I do, showing it with nose kisses as often as well let her. She is definitely my co-pilot, traveling with me between Santa Cruz and Santa Barbara on a regular basis. She accompanies us on all of our errands and outings, from lunch dates, to holiday shopping, to protests - she is a trooper! We could not have asked for a more perfect family member.
