This is what we want! In simple terms I think what everyone wants is a good life. You can define a good life in many ways but they all suppose that you start with very little (as a child) and you grow up into whatever you choose. For some, the challenge will demand maximum personal effort as a psychopath and a disregard for those we tread on in the rat race but for the majority it would be nice to have some cooperation and occasional help and some time to enjoy what we are doing. It is something like climbing a mountain. Very few of us start life at the top! Government. Cooperation and support can be found within family and a circle of friends. Specific services are available from entities such as Religious organizations for spiritual comfort, and volunteer support groups for many physical afflictions. But the major support in many areas has to come from government to which we have agreed to give the authority to provide roads, water, sewage disposal, and many physical infrastructure services, power supply, standardized pensions, hospitals and medical services, a judicial system, national and provincial protected areas, security services to name just a few of the services needed to protect and service the commons and the ordinary man. The Harper government has just agreed the secret FIPA Investment Protection Agreement with China and is energetically pursuing agreement of the proposed and secret FISA in global finance, CETU with the European Union, TIPPA with some 20 trans Pacific States, and many other one on one Trade Deals that include investor protection clauses that limit Canadian control of legislation and jurisdiction in favour of corporate controlled tribunals. The texts are reported to include a structure that will prevent removal of such clauses and prevent cancellation of the Trade Deals themselves. We have a system for electing government but it is badly broken. It has been sabotaged by unscrupulous psychopaths that have realigned its duties to suit their own agendas. We want a system of government that looks after the people first rather than corporations. Money. Money is a very clever man made artifact originally used to measure the difference in value between objects. It was interest free as cash when issued by a central authority (King or Priest) but became a money making commodity when issued as credit Notes by money lenders. This was tolerable as long as growth was needed and the proportion of cash to credit was at least 50/50 but the money lenders now have control of 97% of the money supply and the interest drain on borrowers capital is beggaring the general population. We want a return to interest free government money to fund infrastructures and government services and prevent deficits as well as providing everyday cash. This will not lead to inflation. Information. One of the key elements that govern how we live our lives is the information we have with which to make decisions. We are bombarded with information by newsprint, radio, television, advertisising and the movies. Incredibly, all these services are owned by a few familial corporations that all imply and promote the same message while deconstructing our public support services that we have assembled over the years. Corporations are good, government is inefficient unless run by a corporation minded clique. Corporate controlled government must deregulate and privatize all government facilities in order to let the market place provide the most efficient services. This has been tried and proven wrong. The one potentially independent source of news is the internet where independent sources struggle to expose the lies and deceit of the corporate controlled major sources but even the internet is owned by a few corporations that have divided up the available bandwidth between themselves and are seeking to control the content provided by independents. We want a major independent source of information and a break up of the interlocking print, radio and TV dissemination of single source news as corporate spin and propaganda. Education. In the complex civilized (?) world we have created so far it is obvious that the education of our children is lacking in some respects. They are taught by rote the elements they need for a business worklife. Phys.Ed and sport are adequate for healthy bodies. Morality is taught by religious dogma. Ethics and Critical Thought are non existent except in Liberal University curriculae. Tolerance is practiced as multiculturalism which fosters segregation. How money works is an absolute taboo. Subsequent Life experience has to provide the real education. We want an education system that teaches life values instead of just creating useable workers. Global Warming a.k.a. Climate Change As the Earths temperature gradually increases for whatever reason and the arctic ice sheets melt, carbon dioxide is released by the melting permafrost, the oceans acidify and agriculture is disrupted by changing weather patterns, the human race faces a massive challenge to survival for a large percentage of humanity and total disruption for the rest. We are very close to the tipping point at some time in the next 50 to 100 years beyond which the processes will accelerate by feedback into intolerable conditions. In order to remedy this situation we need leadership from government. Our present government is a leader in denying that anything serious needs to be done. A change in government thinking will best be accomplished by electoral reform and a collective effort based on science. In order to be effective some massive changes to economic patterns will be needed which will entail costs of new technology and compensation for abandoned technologies. These costs can only be envisioned if interest charges for government initiatives are eliminated which means monetary reform. Unbiased information and public education will be needed to get the general public on side. Summary. This list of Wants is not exhaustive but it encompasses many of the changes needed to modify our current conditions and provide the path to rectify many more urgent needs. The primary Wants will hopefully enable a transition to a less globalised, more localized form of government and economic activity to energise everyone while still remaining friends with the rest of the world. The Wants are a necessary first step towards stopping the corporatized NWO which is being orchestrated by a self appointed cabal of financial crazies who think they can replace national and ethnic identities with a factory production line. I would place electoral reform as the priority. It will be messy but without that it will be difficult to legislate any other reforms. Now see if you can find a political party that will match these Wants or your own list of Wants. I will give my analysis of our four major Parties and two fringe Parties in a separate Post. We have to find a way to make at least one of them guarantee to do what we want and a way to influence whichever Party or Coalition succeeds in forming the next government.
