This is what your Facebook tells me about you. It tells me your full name, your date of birth and the current city you reside in. It Shows me what your political and religious views are and your likes and dislikes. Your pictures show me what you look like, what your friends and family look like, the make and model of your vehicle and what your house looks like. Using a little math I can calculate your height based off of known objects in the pictures with you. Certain apps allow you to check in which provides me a map with a time stamp of your physical location at a given time. Your status can be used to determine your frame of mind at a given moment and all of the above shows me what you value in life and how you perceive yourself. All of this can be used to create a digital profile of yourself and then used to exploit you. This is all 100% legal and I can do it without violating your constitutional rights because you willfully and freely post it on a social media website. This information is then shared with everyone on the world wide web. Your security settings will not help you from sharing information, be careful with what you put out there for others to see.
