This is where I am going very soon. Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge is only about a hour drive from my house. It has some of the best birding in Florida. I am stalking the Roseate Spoonhill (the pink beauties here), and the white pelicans. I didnt know we had white pelicans (Ive only seen the brown) here Serenity in Simple Pleasures so I am super excited. I love their pale pink bills. Hubby is gonna take me. This is like a grownup Disney World! Look at all the variety of birds in this one shot. I see white egrets, white ibis, snowy egrets, roseate spoonhills, woodstork, and little blue heron. #connieforeman #merrittislandnationalwildliferefuge
