This is where you got your religion. If you are a Black AmeriKKKan. You came to this country on a Slave Ship, your history and culture were beat out of you. You were worked like a mule sun up to sun down. You were not allowed to think. Literally. If you did another slave would go and tell master Master he over there thinking!! and you would be severely beaten in front of your fellow slaves. You knew nothing of the earth but the masters plantation and your barn floor you slept on next to the animals. You were forbidden to learn BY LAW. Punishable by DEATH. You couldnt be kept alive if you learned anything for fear of you teaching the other slaves and causing them to Wake up. So of course that leads to the LAW that you were forbidden to read and write. But master gave you one gift. And one gift only. The Bible. Christianity. You were Allowed to learn that, you were allowed to attend church, in the back standing up of course, but you wer NOT allowed to miss a sunday. The one time of the week the slaves got a break. And with that break they were allowed to partake in this Christianity teaching and learn how to be a good slave and a man named Jesus would reward you, save you and allow you to meet his father.
