This is why I do my Thursday domestic violence survivor group. THIS is a very big why! I get to serve in two ways. First, as living, breathing proof that just because youve been torn down doesnt mean you have to stay that way. Second, I get to share real and USE-ABLE tools with these women. Tools that they can apply in the moment to change their experience. And they are. Its so fulfilling to witness the changes in them from week to week. Makes me feel such gratitude for my history.
