This is why I dont watch the news apart from it being biased, fear mongering and just plain sad, the networks in Australia allow their employees to blatantly disregard individuals rights and also insight victims in order to make their story, or in this case their footage, more interesting. The networks edited this footage to portray a man, Mr Gad Amr, the father of the accused, becoming enraged and threatening a cameraman, a man that has been a law abiding citizen of Australia for over 20 years. Mr Amrs anger is far from unprovoked. The reason why I shared this was so when you at watching the news you question whether it is true or not dont just take it as fact, this clip demonstrates how easy it is for networks to manipulate content and In this case portray a peaceful and respectful man to appear exactly how he would have been perceived by the public, as another angry Muslim and offered to the masses in their armchairs for vilification.
