This is why Im voting yes for independence, Scotland is suffering from the policies imposed on us from a government we didnt vote for. We live in a prosperous country, and I really believe if we had full control, we could create a better country, one where wealth is distributed more fairly. The use of food banks in Scotland is increasing, and I can only see it continuing to increase as long as our policies are coming from Westminister. I get angry when I see things like this, this is not something that should happen in a developed country. For me, whatever the result is, Im still going to feel lucky I have a job I enjoy, and can go to work each day and not have to worry about my children being able to eat, or have to decide between paying bills or buying food, because I can only afford one. My votes never been for me, its for the 70,000+ people who have had to turn to food banks this year, and the parents struggling to feed their children because of things like UK welfare cuts. I have to believe that as an independent country, we can have a government who will work to build a better Scotland.
