This is wrong on so many levels. First of all, are police officers not trained as first responders to perform CPR?! Clearly he is UNRESPONSIVE...no verbal or tactile stimuli. There are no emergency lights and sirens alarming in the background?! The paramedics who are also first responders should all be held liable as well for failure to perform emergency services. So we see one paramedic check for a pulse. She said he had one. If he did or did not...he clearly is in Respiratory Distress. No one checked for a rise and fall of his chest. No one did a sternal rub. Was not removed from handcuffs to be placed on his back to provide for an open airway. No oxygen saturation checked. No oxygen administered. No EKG performed. No vital signs checked. NO CPR...if he had a pulse and was not breathing (although allegedly they said he was)...YOU DONT DO CHEST COMPRESSIONS (which they didnt) but you do give rescue breaths/oxygen (NO RESCUE BREATHS/OXYGEN WERE ADMINISTERED)?! NO BACK BOARD...NEVER FLAT ON HIS BACK AND HEAD TILTED BACK TO CLEAR HIS AIRWAY?! HE COULD HAVE BEEN SAVED RIGHT THERE AT THE SCENE?! WHAT MEDICAL PERSONELL/FIRST RESPONDER/NURSE/DOCTOR/PARAMEDIC just stand by and look at a dying human. THIS HURTS MY HEART.
