This just off the wire....Filming season 1 of Dining with Darling is headin down the stretch, WOO HOO!! 11 episodes are in the can and on the way to post production. Quite the fun experience working closely with our creative director and film crew in bringing my kitchen to your kitchen this fall on public television, and on the newly launched foodytv. foodytv. Next up is yours truly with DWDs entourage jet setting off to Venice Italy to film the remaining 2 episodes aboard Uniworlds (uniworld) Boutique River Cruise ship River Countess on the Po river. We will explore the incredible Northern Italian cuisine, luscious wine, and deep cultural history steeped in towns and villages along our river highway, bringing our discoveries right to your living room! Here are a few pics for yall during the shoot; I made a boo boo in setting my camera to high vivid, oops, need to photo shop correct soon! I had my twin pastry chef brother Ken on 3 episodes, 2 preparing his perfect desserts with him bossing me around, (he loooved it!) and the other with me cooking and bossing him around! We both had a real fun time, he is definitely on for season 2. My other guest chef, Mike Garcia of Left Coast Depot, leftcoastdepot prepared a DEELICH Braised Lamb Shank with Roasted Root Vegetables and Creamy Yukon Gold Potatoes, the film crew devoured the dish in 20 seconds flat after close of the episode!
