This last Saturday, May 3, 20 members gathered for our first Educational Opportunity to begin the discernment process for building our strategic ministry plan. I am grateful for all that came out to give a voice to their concerns as well as their willingness to engage the discerning process. If you have signed up for a discernment group, please meet together every 10 days for the next 100 days. These groups will pray for each other, the church, and seek Gods will for our church community. If you have not joined, and wish to sign up, it is not too late to do so. Groups are forming now. Our next meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 28 at 5:30pm-7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. The focus of that group will be establishing some rules of engagement for the rest of the process and deciding on three possible mission fields for our congregation to explore. The more people that participate the better.
