This last week has been a whirlwind of emotion for many of us. Weve witnessed the outrage and anger of the shooting of yet another young black man, the sadness at the death by suicide of beloved entertainer, and the many reminders of disease and ailments that affect peoples lives. Ive also learned this week that a man who Ive come to respect and admire, has been diagnosed with lymphoma only months after creating a lasting relationship with the woman of his dreams and only weeks after the birth of his son. I just want to remind everyone that throughout our lives we will encounter challenges and difficulties. Dont let these inevitable occurrences derail your goals and dreams. Keep pushing. Dont give up...
