This may be a little long, but interesting how the Lord leads. A Note Of Praise! Praising the Lord for my Surgery last Wednesday. For those of you who did not know this, ‘I had a knee replacement last December 12th I had been in pain three years before I decided to have it done. As time went on I had to go fourth and take care of this problem, because it was really painful. So from last December 12th until this past Wednesday the pain was greater than before surgery was done. The problem had been with the nerves from the surgery. For the entire year I could not sleep because the pain was so debilitating I could not go grocery shopping. Rick had to do it all. My next step was to have the nerve endings corrected so there would be no more pain. This was done Wednesday March 19th. I went to see a Neural Surgeon two weeks before the surgery. The Neural Surgeon was so compassionate. He ran test showing Rick and I what needed to be done. I felt comfortable right away and was ready to go fourth with what had to be done. Now this is where the Praise comes in. The Doctor had two high-school young men assisting him in this, one wanted to be a Doctor the other a Nurse. When the surgery was completed the Doctor and two young men went out in the waiting room to let Rick know how everything went. From the first time Rick and I met this Doctor he looked very familiar to both of us. Before the Doctor talked to Rick, Rick asked the two young men where they went to school. They both said, “Carroll Christian School, Rick said, “ I go there to Church of the Open Door. Now I will tell you my Doctor’s name.... Doctor Williams looked at Rick and said that is where I go. He asked Rick what service he went to, we go to the 8:30 morning service, and so does Doctor Williams. Well he and Rick had a great time of fellowship as they talked. Doctor Williams had called me three times from Wednesday evening till Friday night to see how I was doing. This morning I went to church, and Doctor Williams came down to where I was setting and talked to me. He is such a wonderful person. I asked him if he mind if I gave him a hug. He said of course I don’t mind. I met his wife also who was with him. They sit in the balcony this is why we didn’t know them. I prayed for a Christian doctor and God gave me Doctor Williams. I could not have asked for a better doctor. Thank you Lord!
