This may cause some controversy, but Im going to throw it out there since the group is [thankfully] slow tonight. If you or anyone you know still has abandoned cars in traffic lanes on major highways or major Roswell streets, I wouldnt expect law enforcements compassionate blind eye to last much beyond tomorrow morning. These roads (or the vast majority) were totally dry by early afternoon today, yet only about 10% of the dozens of abandoned cars on the 120 hill have been reclaimed. There is even a C-class Mercedes sitting right in the middle of the curb lane on the blind curve on the Hwy 9 (reversible lane) hill as of this evening. Nobody can assign blame for abandoning vehicles given the conditions at the time, but I just dont want to see the other 90% of car owners end up being charged $$ for an involuntary tow/impound when officials decide theyve been there long enough. If you need transportation to this area to retrieve your vehicle, I and a few others continue to offer our help. A few took us up on the offer earlier today.
