This may surprise some and not others. Since I was a child, I have had a strong relationship with Christ. Ive entertained the idea of seminary, but being disabled and taking that on would be difficult. I am somewhat liberal and quantum physics with a puritanical/rebel streak and have wondered if I could align with a particular Christian tradition. I am performing my first wedding of two dear friends in the fall and although I am authorized by the state of CA, I may get authorized by my pastor to perform weddings as a volunteer under the Anglican tradition. My pastor is encouraging me to become a Deacon which would effectively make me a minister with some limitations and would be a process involving some education, of course. I am taking this quite seriously and am contemplating this idea. Frankly, Im having a hard time ignoring the call.
