Update: Friday, September 26, 2014 Sorry for the delayed posting. I have had altitude sickness & unable to be at the hospital. Elaine & Tommy were by Denises side & today they are both experiencing the symptoms of altitude sickness. Thanks to Jimmy Johnson, who is their awesome grandson who has been the chauffeur. I know visiting with some of your Colorado friends has been a small token of thanks while weve all been at St Anthonys with Denise. Folks this has been no picnic in the Rockies but we all are thankful to be together and do what we can for Denise. Yesterday, Tanya N Courtney Vickers has been busy at Denises House. She has done house cleaning with Londyn as her zealous 3 yr. old helper & all the laundry. The candles are lite in preperation of Denises arrival. We must say Thank You to Art Dotson, for all the love he has shared with us and for multitude things he has done to make this journey as pleasant as possible! Prayers, Hugs & our Love Always...Art! If you are searching for an Old Time American Neighborhood..you need to look no father than King St. Westminster, Co. Thank You... Jack & Michelle Dean who coordinated the repairs of the unexpected plumbing & electrical problems that happened at the most unoptimal time. ...Donna & Terry for the art supplies & coloring books when Denise feels like decorating & putting her awesome touch from her bed. Tanya also arranged for WiFi setup for Aunt Neci to enjoy getting out of the house and away from cancer via a new iPhone 5. Jason Williams & his lovely wife Alicia Williams are also King St neighbors who are Denises adopted married kids. They are providing an iPad to enjoy services with The Pentecostals of Royalwood Houston & Landmark, Denver, FB, Pinterest, Houzz & Games. The Good News is that yesterday, Neci had her 1st Chemo treatment (Gemzar & Abraxane) She has experienced some side effects since treatment. Neci is being discharged from the hospital tonight to go home with medication to keep her comfortable as much as possible. The biopsy came back as Stage 2 Pancreatic Cancer but we know The Great Physician. Her next Chemo treatment will be ambulatory at St Antonys in a week. Thanks for all of You! We all feel your Prayers, Love, Hugs & Encouraging words! Without you this would be a very hard & lonely journey! A Special Thanks to the wonderful man in my life, Milton Harris, who loves me dearly & awaits patiently for this scribe & caregiver to return to Houston! I love Babe, to the moon & back! signed, The Scribe, Vickie Hay Johnson
