This midday opening of a group show in Amsterdam at Ornis. A Gallery, 5 o clock! Everybody is welcome! Before that i will visit the Claudius Civilis painting of Rembrandt in the Rijksmuseum, it is the first time since 1969 that his biggest painting he ever made is coming to the Netherlands! It was cut down because the representation of Dutch history by Rembrandt was nog appreciated, you see a king with an eye out. With his army in an dark muddy Cave full armored with swords celebrating their victory on the Romans. Yeah! After that i wil be at the opening at Ornis A. Gallery, see you there! FIRST BLOSSOM - ALLE JONG, ANNA NAVASARDIAN, JAY MIRIAM, MIRJAM JACOB AND INGE AANSTOOT April 5 – May 11, 2014 Opening: April 5, 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Ornis A. Gallery proudly presents a group exhibition with the young artists: Jay Miriam (1990, USA), Anna Navasardian (1988, Armenia), Alle Jong (1988, The Netherlands), Inge Aanstoot (1987, The Netherlands) and Mirjam Jacob (1983, Germany) entitled First Blossom. The exhibition title comes from a event which was called First Blossom, the actual event took place more than 25 years ago in selected galeries in Amsterdam.
