This might be a stupid question. But we rescued a baby from the feeder bin. She was half the size of the rest and is missing her eye. We got her two days ago...the first day she just slept and ate constantly. After scrambled eggs and baby formula, she is doing ALOT better. But I noticed shes walking really weird. Im almost 100% positive shes a runt but it seems almost like shes formed alittle different than most rats (I hate using the word deformed :( Ive never had a baby like this....most of my girls were just very young. When my girls walk, its the normal long, slender, sly movement. When this baby walks, shes very hunched over and kind of bounces. Her front legs seem to close to her back legs even when she is sitting. Is it normal for runt babies to look like this or does this sound/look abnormal? Ill post pictures in the comments that might be able to give you an idea of what I mean although Im sure pictures arent as good as a video :(
