This morning, I am feeling extra blessed and grateful that my dear friend, Amy Brown Proctor, invited me (last minute because I wasnt on facebook yet) to her home to see another friend, Danielle Derosier Pearson. I wanted to see my friends, but I had no desire to be there when Danielle did her little presentation for that network marketing company (said with a disdainful tone). Fortunately, my plan to get there late, say hello, and miss the entire presentation back-fired and I was able to see the life of CHOICE and FREEDOM that Danielle was creating AND learn that there was a company as committed to providing a healthy, safe product as I desired and needed. Turns out, it was way more than I thought! AND, I could not have been more wrong about network marketing...turns out all those things that turned me off to it, were more about the individual companies, not network marketing!! We network market everyday simply by recommending things to others. These products have changed our health, our skin, and our finances. Because of this business, I get to spend today at my daughters field day and then head to a concert with friends. Everyone gets to take a day off here and there, but I just took a whole week off, very suddenly, 2 weeks ago...working as a PT, I never could have done that. As a result, my kids and I were able to spend a week with Colorado cousins and attend a family reunion with my 94 year grandmother in Virginia. Arbonne is not about money, opportunity, safe-effective products, or even freedom....it has or brings ALL of those things, but it is really about people and relationships. It helps us to nurture and cherish the ones already existent in our lives AND it helps us to create new ones within our community since we have more time to do so. My favorite relationships that Arbonne has brought me are those with my kids and my family...that is where my heart is at and NOW, I can ALWAYS put them first, while still providing the necessity of financial freedom. As our former president used to say, Money isnt everything, but it is right up there with oxygen. It is really hard to give away what you dont have. I am grateful that Arbonne has brought me both time and money because I love to give both!!!
