This morning I am scheduled to take my truck to the dealership for whatever has to be done to repair or replace an electric outside mirror. When the mirror first malfunctioned I dreaded to think what it might cost to have it fixed. But then I remembered that the vehicle is still under warranty. That means someway else will pay even though it is my problem. You dont have to be a preacher to quickly make the application. You and I have many problems that are much worse than a mirror that no longer works as it should. Because I am mechanically challenged the mirror would remain unworkable if repairing or replacing it depended on me. In fact the problem would get much worse if I tried to tackle the job. But thankfully Ive been able to find someone who can do for me what Im unable to do for myself. Now Ive got you thinking like a preacher and youve already figured out my next thought. We have a Problem Solver! My truck warranty states that it will not cover repairs if I caused the problem because of neglect or some other action for which I am responsible. Stay with me on this one. Some of our problems are the result of things happening that are beyond our control. But the truth is that many of our problems we bring on ourselves. We should be thankful that the Problem Solver doesnt send us away and refuse to help when we have created our own problem. No matter who or what has caused the problem He still invites us to come to Him and find rest. The bible says that He is a very present help in time of need. And dont forget that He is open for business 24/7. Instead of worrying yourself sick trying to figure out how to solve all your problems take your burdens to The Lord and leave them there. Oh, by the way He has already paid whatever it cost so that we might freely receive. Be blessed.
