This morning I am shouting from the roof tops. Last night at the Malone Golf Club it was Rally for the Cure. This is an annual event and it raises money for breast cancer research, awareness and education. Anne Ray and Sandy Macomber put this together each year. Last year the total was just over $7000 - this year they are hoping to top it! Well, each year Anne Ray donations her talent for a gift - a painting by her of your favor golf hole OR she will do a picture of your pets. After I dont know how many years I have been trying but YES, I WON THE PAINTING! I am so excited!! When Derek called my name I couldnt believe it - I screamed YES!!!!! Now to decide on the hole I want painted. I think it might be 13 West - the short but sometimes challenging par 3 over the water. A little over a week ago I birdied that hole with 3 friends playing. It was awesome with everything that was going on in my life for the month of July - it was an awesome birdie in so many ways. I cant thank Anne and Sandy enough for what they do - the time - the effort - the outcome. I am so excited to be the WINNER!!
