This morning, I heard Mr. Mellencamp sing this song on Howard Stern. It immediately made me think of my father, whose death day is coming up. I dont speak of him publicly very often but hes been on my mind lately. It hurts to wish for something you never had. I imagine (because I didnt know him), he felt like this.
