This morning I hiked up to a viewing spot to shoot Delicate Arch at sunrise. It was a bit unsettling as it was almost completely dark and unfamiliar to me. I Got to a spot that looked good (it was still half an hour before I could even see the arch), set up my camera and waited for sunrise. It was cold and incredibly quiet and peaceful. All of a sudden below me I heard a strange sound, kind of a whoosh, whoosh, whoosh. I couldnt see anything but the sound was getting closer, whoosh, whoosh, whoosh... WTH? Then I heard a cough and figured out it was human. When the guy got closer I could see what the noise was, his new snow pants on a cold morning whooshing with every step. All I could think of was a Seinfeld episode where George was worried about an interview he had and his new pants were whooshing. Landscape Photographers!
