This morning, I opened the one bottle of root beer I purchased specifically for me, Dang! Thats Good Butterscotch Root Beer. It is bottled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by Imperial Flavors Beverage Company. The root beer has a very strong, but nice butterscotch flavor as one might expect. The root beer is also smooth due to the sugar sweetening without the harshness of corn syrup. None of the root beers I purchased have caffeine so there is none of the caffeine flavor or bitterness in the root beers either. Dang! Thats Good is a decent root beer. I love the butterscotch flavor, but is does overwhelm the rest of the herbs and root taste and Becca noted she thought it was very similar to the Butter Beer we had at Universal Studios last year. The butterscotch is a nice plus, but since the other flavors are very weak I am going to rate this as 3 stars out of 5. I think Beccas description describes the best and worst of this beverage. It has a nice buttery taste, but you dont know you are drinking root beer.
