This morning I was asking myself this question, what makes people think they know it all about life when they have everything? What makes them think that they do not need God in their lives? � The very same people do not understand that they are where they are because someone has prayed for them. I remember when is was young raised by my grandmother, every evening she would pray for her children, each and everyone one of them, even the ones who don�t believe in God she would pray for them and pour out a blessing in their lives. The same people who grew up in a praying environment now when they have it all they don�t even know what prayer means and yet they are alive today because of the prayers that were prayed for by their parents. And you think you are an expert when it comes to life just because God is faithful to His word and He is God who heard your parent�s prayers. The same way God said to Daniel from the first day you said your prayers I heard you that�s what happened to these people�s lives, God heard the prayers of the people who stood in the gap for them and they think they don�t need God in their lives. Proverbs 3:6 says, in all your ways acknowledge Him. Its not your education that got you where you are, its not your connections that got you where you are, its not your looks that got you where you are. It has always been God and He planted you where you are so that you can be who He has been to you, acknowledge Him. He has been too good to you, look at how people around you value and respect you, look at the position you are in, it might not be what you�ve always wanted but you are in a better position than others, He has given you the family that supported you even when you were in your worst moments. � Don�t think you are perfect and you don�t need God, He is the reason you are alive today, ask yourself this question today: if you would lose everything that you have today what would people or God say about you. Lets acknowledge and recognize God�s hand in our lives every morning as we didn�t even wake ourselves up today alone, we need Him.
