This morning, a farming family from Kafr Qalil went to harvest almonds on their land under the illegal settlement of Bracha - infamous for the violence of its settlers. Army immediately arrived and harassed the family but allowed them to harvest their almonds. However, settlers from Bracha then approached the family, running down the hill towards them, shouting. They shoved and yelled at the family, ordering them off the Palestinian privately owned land. The soldiers then also ordered the farmers from the land, while the settlers tried to steal the almonds that the family had picked. Overhead on the hill, another settler was visible trying to steal the donkeys that belong to the family - one was retrieved but one ran away and was possibly stolen by the settlers. The farmer is now trying to search the dangerous land under the settlement for his lost donkey - an expensive and essential commodity in Palestine.
