This morning....for the very FIRST time...i saw Leigha examining the scars on her chest, with concern. (They have a full length mirror, and she was getting ready to get dressed) It made me sad....i NEVER WANT her to feel self-concious about it, but know full WELL, as a woman, she will ....to some degree :-( It broke my heart, for a second, then I told her "Every time you see those scars, i want you to REMEMBER how special you are.....God CHOSE to help the doctors fix your broken heart." Who KNOWS if I handled it right....but in that second, its all her heartbroken Nana could come up with.
