This morning on the radio I heard a comment about a particular war being a war on children. But heres the thing... All wars are wars on children and childhood... Children caught in war are not allowed to have a real childhood... whether it is a global war, a societal war, a drug war, the war of domestic violence... innocent bystanders and collateral damage is always involved, and that damage wreaks more damage over time in a cycle of violence... There are many battles to fight, at home and abroad, internal and external... but lets do all that we can to make the world around us a better place every day... from little things to big things... if we cannot celebrate and envision the good... the beautiful... the mysterious... what is POSSIBLE... then we have already created obstacles to what is good, beautiful, and possible from actually coming into existence... thought creates action... thoughts create reality... if we do not create realities that are beautiful and worth living for -- for all of humanity -- we will not be able to eliminate the harsh realities and senseless deaths of what so many people are dying for... What is your small part in this incomprehensible puzzle? What talents can you share with your community? How can we all help to make the world a better place in small ways every day?
