This morning terrorists stormed the offices of French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo and murdered 12 people. Among the dead were four leading cartoonists, including Georges Wolinski (80), a Jew of Tunisian/Polish roots who is quoted as having said, Humor is the shortest path from one man to another. Today on Instagram his daughter posted a picture of his studio with the caption, Papa est parti pas Wolinski (Daddy is gone, not Wolinski). Thursday has been declared a national day of mourning in France.
