This morning the Water Resources Reform and Development Act - TopicsExpress

This morning the Water Resources Reform and Development Act (WRRDA) was signed into law. This bill makes the Western Sarpy and Clear Creek flood control project a priority. Once passed, the Western-Sarpy Clear Creek flood project will protect: 443 homes and buildings and the families that live in and near them; 17,730 acres of agricultural lands and crops; the major well and drinking water pipelines for Lincoln and Omaha; the Nebraska Army National Guard’s training grounds; and, portions of Interstate 80 and US Highway 6. This is exactly the kind of common-sense, stewardship of taxpayer dollars that the American people deserve and expect from Congress and Im proud to have supported it.
