This morning there was a nock on our door - Police officer informs us that my car was broken into. I was very fortunate, my car is fine. No broken windows, nothing ripped out, the electronics still there, my glove compartment was open and mail was all over the front seat, they did not take the GPS, only pain medicine for my back. That was it - they took meds. The police officer said this was a professional hit, three other cars were also broken into but the windows were shattered and lots stolen. We live in a newly constructed complex and they also took building supplies. The office said that the perpetrators must have been scared off and that is why they did not take more from my car. I am so fortunate. FYI..officer said to make sure to take everything out of cars. I am so glad that my car is fine and they did not steal it or damage it.
