This morning was bitter sweet. It was a perfect moms morning waking to quiet and having peace to sip coffee and time to have a quiet grown up conversation with my husband. But not having kids up early busily getting ready to head out for the day was a bit sad because it means Bac2One art camp is done for the year. Art camp isnt only great because the kids are gone all day everyday, LOL. It is great because the kids grow in faith & a relationship with the Lord. It is great because they explore arts, crafts, & creativity. It is great because they see old & make new friends of all ages. It is great because the Holy Spirit moves them and they come out of their shell. It is great because they gain so much confidence in themselves & our God. It is great because they hear Gods word in new & exciting ways. It is great because they have so much fun & grow in such positive ways towards becoming more independent and mature. It is great because they are seeing awesome Godly examples. It is great because it shows them what a difference volunteering can make to so many. It is just great...no AWESOME...for them to be involved in! There are just way to many people to thank in this community! But especially Bethel Church. Not many small town churches would invite and do such a phenomenal job opening their doors and setting up tented classrooms outside so they could welcome 170 kids from the community into their wonderful little church. I cant thank everyone but will thank as many as I can for making a difference in my kids and so many others lives! I wont be able to tag many, but will in the comments.
