This morning we attended a press conference in Corona, Queens, announcing ACEs services in the area. District Council Woman, Julissa Ferrera, spoke about the Cleanup NYC initiative that will make the streets cleaner, safer and overall better for us to live in and conduct business. She went on to say how ACE has been a valuable community partner, and will not only administer the cleanup, but will be improving the lives of the people in the neighborhood! ACE will be responsible for sweeping, removing graffiti, and emptying the trash cans 5 days a week during the hours of 9am to 5pm, through June 30th. By improving the environment we will not only be creating a visually more pleasing area, it will also help prevent dangerous handling of trash by curios children, thereby reducing the possibility of injury from sharp objects!
